construction update
Tons of great opportunities to help with the restoration of this building. We are working to make the balcony seatable, expanding the nursery and children’s church space. For the next few Saturday mornings this will be mostly priming/painting. Let Joe know you are interested (), or just show up on Sat at 8am.

new gallery exhibit
Following the service, Arts Guild will host a Gallery Opening and Brunch for a new photography exhibit featuring work by Mike Donahoe, Ben Derkin and Lily Glass. Stay for it.

monthly session
Grace Central has a monthly leadership meeting - a time when Grace Central’s elders pray as well as discuss, and direct the mission of Grace Central.  This happens on the second Monday of every month. It is open to all - if you ever are interested in coming, email Greg ().

music ministry open audition: march 14th
Grace Central's music ministry is organized around one year rotations.  We're coming up to that time of year where we invite anyone who would be interested in helping lead music to come play with us and see how you like the way we work, and vice versa.  

Helping with music isn't a huge commitment - GC has 3 music teams that work on a 3 week on/6 week off schedule.  And our open practice process is pretty relaxed - just set aside a couple of hours on March 14th after the service to essentially jam with GC musicians.  The 4 songs that we'll be working on during our open practice are posted online at mscmin.blogspot.com, along with links to lyrics/chords and recordings of the songs.

Generally speaking, music at GC is pretty relaxed.  In fact, we're so relaxed that you're better off playing with us if you have strong improvisational skills, and are able to quickly adjust to last minute changes in the way a song is played, or the key it's played in.  

If you play the following instruments, you are particularly encouraged to think about joining a music team - drums, bass, cello, (didgeridoo).
