LEADERS: JOE HAACK

Joe and his wife Josie live in Grandview Heights, their favorite city in the world. Josie is a fantastic educator - and an even more phenomenal mother. (Also, every good idea of Joe's likely has its origin in Josie.) They have two boys, Jude and Henry.

Joe enjoys the open back banjo, second hand pipe smoke, & (the idea of) reading books. He has the Midwest in his blood stream: he was born in Illinois, raised in Indiana, educated in Ohio, and trained for ministry in Missouri. Therefore, he thinks interesting topography, large bodies of water, and single-season climates are overrated.

He gets excited about simple things done really well: bacon, coffee, and songs, to name a few examples. More seriously, he gets excited about communities beautifully demonstrating the reality of Jesus. He is in the process of starting a new Grace Central congregation in Grandview Heights - where he longs to see the needs, hopes, dreams, and aspirations of his city met in Jesus.
