Globally

We also financially support several organizations advancing God's kingdom in other parts of the world. From providing clean water in Rwanda to training pastors in Malawi, we try to steward God's resources wisely.

Grace Central Clothing Room

The Grace Central clothing room is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, and is operated out of our Short North location at 237 West Second Avenue.

The Grace Central Clothing Room is located in the lower level of the church with a side entrance off the west alley. Doors are open every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10am to noon, making clothing available to anyone in need. We house apparel for men, women, teens, and children. Currently, we also have an assortment of men’s and women’s shoes as well as blankets and some undergarments. Donations are received anytime Grace Central’s doors are open. The Clothing Room needs volunteers to sort clothing, oversee the Room during 1st and 3rd Saturdays, and assist with other small projects. If you have questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact Cami Freeman at camellia.freeman@gmail.com or (541) 619-9332.

MicroMissions

Home groups at Grace Central are the catalyst for much of our smaller outreach work.  For example, one home group collected gloves for a Salvation Army program working with Columbus prostitutes.  Another group is planning crafts for about 40 kids that we met during our Thanksgiving and Christmas food give-away.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets / Santa Shop

Grace Central carries on the great tradition of giving away food at Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2010, we gave away turkeys and bags of groceries to about 200 families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In our Santa Shop program, kids in need pick out gifts for their family and wrap them with the help of a volunteer.

The John 17 Project

The Project is a gospel-centered mentoring program for teens and young adults at risk. Our home groups provide a weekly meal for the kids in the program, and several key volunteers are members of Grace Central.
