Clintonville
What if Grace Central was to commit itself to seeing seven Grace Central congregations in Columbus, with the goal of growing each to a size of 200, all within 10 years? And what if we pulled together a team of people to begin praying, planning and preparing to plant a new Grace Central congregation in the Clintonville area?
Well, that's what we're doing. We've gathered a small group of people together and are currently meeting on a weekly basis to discuss the workings of this future church site, and we're looking toward a Winter 2009 launch. Grace Central Clintonville will not be a second church, nor a second worship service from which to choose, nor merely a second location. Rather, this will be a second congregation of the same church-- a reincarnation of the gospel and the Grace Central philosophy of ministry in a new neighborhood of the city.
Everyone gathered on this team loves Clintonville, and we're excited to be an even bigger part of this community. Exciting things are happening. Here's what we're up to right now:
Parenting Class/Discussion Group: "Spiritual Resources for Real-Life Parenting (or, How to Love Your Kids without Killing Them)"
- A six-week group that will meet on Saturdays, Sept. 26 - Oct. 31, from 4-5:15 pm, at Whetstone Recreation Center, Classroom A, 3923 N. High St., Clintonville.
