Greg Blosser

greg b photo Greg Blosser, when he was just seventeen, met the girl who would become his wife while at a church youth function in the small Ohio town where they both grew up. Their very first conversation was a theological debate in which Charity admirably held her own in a demonstration of teenage biblical prowess. While the serendipitous details of the encounter were in hindsight, comically obvious harbingers of the events of coming years, at the time neither of them had a clue that God would call them into full time ministry, to plant a new church in the city of Columbus. Greg had no intentions of becoming a pastor and Charity was certain she wanted nothing to do with being a pastor's wife.  They did, however, want to make out and argue about the Bible some more. And so that's what they did.

Fast-forward sixteen years and they find themselves living in the city of Columbus, raising three little kids and pastoring a church they began planting about five years ago - which is exactly what they should have expected - what with all the kissing and bible talk. Again, they never even saw it coming (which is a good argument for kissing with your eyes open, I suppose).

These days most of their time is consumed by being with people, serving the church, raising their kids, and following around their bulldog puppy with a pooper-scooper and a spray bottle of Windex.

Here are some words that indicate recent events or affinities associated with the Blosser family. Some readers may wish to arrange the words into a haiku: bjork concert, pumpkin decoration, jiu-jitsu, darjeeling limited, all the presidents in order, bulldog puppy, the empire strikes back, milk allergies, skyblueskybluesky, hot sugar bear, new shoes
