Rae Whitlock
Rae Whitlock came to Columbus — his wife's hometown — in 2005, after spending most of his life south of the Mason-Dixon line (in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee, to be exact). Though originally not too thrilled with the idea of living in the Midwest, it quickly became obvious that he and his family belonged in Columbus — and at Grace Central. He currently leads a Home Group, serves on the Music ministry team, and occasionally preaches on Sunday mornings.
During the week, you're almost certain to find Rae in one of the city's fine coffee joints with his nose in a book and a mug in hand. He loves hanging out with his wife and daughter, the Gospel, technology, 80's sitcoms, the New York Mets, good music, and the greatest television show to ever be cancelled, Arrested Development. He manages social media and web strategy for an international network of pro-life pregnancy help ministries in his "day job."
Rae and Amy are the proud parents of Zoë, a bundle of grade school energy who keeps them exceedingly busy.
